Once again, these guys are living proof that you do not need to win a contest to be quite successful, because as well as celebrating for the premiere of their debut video for "What Makes You Beautiful", One Direction is also happy because they have broken some records!
The thing is that their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" will not drop until September 11, BUT they have already scored the highest EVER amount of pre-orders for a Sony Music act in the company's history!!! And that is saying a LOT.
As far as the video, it's the definition of a "boyband music video", you got beach, girls and boys, but somehow, it just works because unlike most boybands, the guys from One Direction really do sing, so it's just more than fabricated pop music, they manage to put a special feeling to the vocals that, apparently, translates quite good on the success of the song.
So take a look at One Direction's video for "What Makes You Beautiful" and tell me:
