After having people criticizing her debut performance on Saturday Night Live last week, calling her "the most overrated singer out there" or stating that she was mostly out of tune during the show, now it's revealed that actually Lana Del Rey may not give that much importance to the show that could have changed her music career in the first place.
Lana Del Rey talked to MTV News before the SNL gig and this is what she stated:
"I find it weird ... sometimes. [It] depends on the day, you know, like, [it] depends on what's going on with my family and everyone around me... If I have other things to think about, or I'm trying to get things done for somebody else, and I'm not in my own way, then ... I'm like, 'This doesn't really matter.' Sometimes it seems more important to me than other times, I don't know."And if you thought she was at least slightly nervous about the performance, that some say did not go so well, she explains:
"Things are cool. They always will be, whether the music goes good or not, like, I consider being able to sing a luxury, it doesn't run my life, it's not my main focus. I love it, I feel grateful. I'm honored to be on 'SNL' I'm happy to be here, but if I didn't have it, I'd be happy too."So there you have it, Lana Del Rey is here to stay because she loves what she does, so get the f--- off and stop talking shit about her, ok?
