Although there were goods and bad things on 2011, it was definitely a good year for music, and I am sure people like Adele, One Direction, Rihanna or Lana Del Rey would strongly agree with me on that statement, right?
Today, the BRIT Awards 2012 were celebrated and just as it happened on the 54th GRAMMYs a couple of weeks ago, Adele stole the show by taking home two of the awards for which she was nominated, which included "British Female Solo Artist" and "Album Of The Year", and at this point, it was quite obvious she would win so yeah... That was expected.
Although the luck was on a couple of other new acts like X-Factor finalists One Direction who won their first BRIT Award for "British Single" thanks to their debut record "What Makes You Beautiful". And even, newcomer Lana Del Rey managed to obtain the "International Breakthrough Act" award, which just comes to show that they don't see SNL in the UK (naah, just kidding! She totally deserved that one).
